WARREN CHAUNCY NICHOLAS was born in 1834 in SHARON, HILLSBOROUGH CO., NH. He died on 1 JUN 1864 in COLD HARBOR, VIRGINIA. He was also known as CHARLES W.. He was married to MARY ANN HALL on 22 SEP 1859 in TEMPLE, HILLSBOROUGH CO.,

According to Levi's Civil War Record, he was a Private in Company B, 13th New Hampshire Infantry. His enlistment date was 12 June 1862 and his discharge date was 28 June 1865; he served 3 years. At the time, he lived in Marinette, Marinette, WI. Levi lost his leg as a result of an injury in the Civil War. He incurred a disability (leg removed) in 1878. His obituary reads as follows: 'Levi M. Wines, a veteran of the Civil War, died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home, 918 Parnell Street, following a long illness due to the disabilities of his advanced age, 84 years. He was born in Newport, NH, December 7, 1826. In 1862, he enlisted in Co. B 13th Regiment, New Hampshire Volunteers and served through the entire period of the War, three and one-half years. Shortly after his honorable discharge in 1865, he removed to Wisconsin and settled in Winesville, a village in the county which was named for him.'

Enlisted as a Private on 20 August 1862 at the age of 28. Mustered in Company C, 13th Infantry Regiment New Hampshire on 19 September 1862. Discharged on 4 November 1863 at Portsmouth, VA.

Thomas W. Blanchard was born in Westmorland, NH. 31 Jul 1844 and died in Princeton, MA. 6 Jun 1906. Enlisted 13th NH 12 Aug 1862, wounded (lost right forearm) 29 Sept 1864, discharged 1 Jun 1865 at Manchester, NH. Married Clara Proctor 13 Jun 1867 - Divorced, no known children. Married Augusta Judith Draper 13 Dec 1876, children; Julia, Edward, Albert, Addie, Jenny, Howard.

He died on June 2, 1864 at the Battle of Cold Harbor. He was a Great Uncle on my father's side. He carried the state of NH flag.

Enlisted as a Private on 15 August 1862 at the age of 27. Mustered in Company H, 13th Infantry Regiment New Hampshire on 19 September 1862. Mustered out on 21 June 1865 at Richmond, VA.

Corporal Farrin A. Cross was killed during the battle of Cold Harbor, and buried on the battlefield in an unmarked grave. He maintained a diary during 1864, which can be seen at my web site.

Killed during the Battle of Fredricksburg.

Joined with his brother Alvah Warren. Survived the war.
