6/10/61........ Wounded at Muddy Creek Ga on 6/18/64. Died from the wounds on 8/8/64 at Chattanooga.

captured at Chickamauga on 9/19/63. Spent remainder of war in various Confederate prisons including: Libby, Pemberton, Danville # 4, Andersonville, Charleston, and Florence.

Son of John H. Thompson and Demaris (Wilcox) Thompson. Enlisted June 13, 1861 and on June 15, 1861 mustered into Ohio 26th Infantry 'C' Co. and was captured at Chicamauga, Georgia on September 19, 1863. Died of Disease in Andersonville Prison on August 31, 1864.

He was missing in action at the Battle of Franklin on November 30, 1864

Captured at the Battle of Chickamauga. Died, and was buried, in Andersonville Prison in Sumpter County, GA. Son of Andrew Jackson Clingan, also of Co K.

Enlisted July 22, 1861 in Co. K, 26th Ohio Infantry. Honorably discharged on March 25, 1863. Re-enlisted July 2, 1863 in Co. C, 129th Ohio Infantry. Honorably discharged on March 4, 1864 at Camp Cleveland, OH. Applied for a disability pension under case no. 544186 claiming that his deafness was caused by his being stationed next to the artillery at the Battle of Stone River in Tennessee. He was granted a pension of $12.00 per month. Buried in Somerford Township Cemetery, Madison County, OH.

Enlisted as a Private on 22 July 1861 at the age of 20 Enlisted in Company K, 26th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 23 July 1861. Wounded on 25 November 1863 at Missionary Ridge, TN Died of wounds Company K, 26th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 01 December 1863 in Chattanooga, TN Buried in Chattanooga National Cemetary, Section A, Grave 228
