Found info that Joseph Woolard of the 56th OH Inf and belonged to GAR post 150 in Nebraska, which is Riverton, Franklin. His daughter Alice married my gr grandfather Do Not have much more info than this but would like some

ADAM CRAMER, sexton of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Fostoria, was born in York County, Penn., April 30, 1827, son of John and Catherine (Slote) Cramer, who settled in Loudon Township, this county, in 1838. Our subject was reared in Loudon Township from eleven years of age, and received a limited education in the schools of his times. On reaching maturity, he began to work as a journeyman carpenter, which trade he followed up to the breaking out of the late war of the Rebellion. In July, 1861, he enlisted in Company B, Fifty-fifth Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and was mustered into the service in August following. He veteranized in same company and regiment January 1, 1864; was in the battles of Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Missionary Ridge, siege of Atlanta, siege of Savannah, and in many other engagements, and lost a leg at Averysboro, N. C., March 16, 1865, and received an honorable discharge at Columbus, Ohio, August 13, 1865. In August, 1870, he was appointed postmaster of Fostoria, which position he held ten years. Since the spring of 1883 he has been sexton of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Fostoria. October 23, 1853, Mr. Cramer was married to Christiana Klinger, of Clyde. and by her he has had five children, of whom three survive: Ida (Mrs. H. J. Cochran), Jasper and George M. Mr. and Mrs. Cramer are active members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He is a charter member of the Norris Post No. 27 of G. A. R. Politically he is a Republican. My great grandfather was a farmer in Belmont county, Bellaire, Oh. He served with C Company of the 56th Regiment during the Civil War. He died at Powhatan Point in July of 1897.

Enlisted in Co D, 56th Ohio Infantry Regiment after being discharged from Co H, 153rd Ohio Infantry on 9/9/1864.

Corbley was captured at the battle of Vicksburg and released after several weeks.

Michael mustered out in 1864 but re-enlisted as a veteran volunteer, same regiment but now Co. A

Enlisted as a Private on 19 October 1861 at the age of 31. Received a disability discharge on 9 May 1862.

Duncan was the son of David McKenzie and Harriett McIntosh McKenzie. He was the brother of my great great grandfather, Daniel McKenzie. He died on June 5th 1863, and is buried near Champion Hill at Vicksburg, Mississippi. This information is inscribed at the bottom of his father's tombstone.

Died on June 3, 1863. He is buried at Section E, Site 1798 at Vicksburg National Military Park.

He enlisted into the 56th on Oct.25,1861 at Waverly, Pike County and was mustered into Co.I at Portsmouth. While at Fort Donelson, Tennessee he contracted typhoid fever and died April, 1862 on his way home to Portsmouth, Ohio. I am doing research on this unit and have photos of this unit.
