His last name is sometimes spelled Saunders. Reuben was born in August of 1836 and he died in January 1929 and is buried in Claysville Cemetery in Claysville PA. He enlisted in 1862 in Pittsburgh, PA. Reuben fought at Hanover, Gettysburg and was taken prisoner at Brandy Station in October of 1863. He was paroled in April of 1864. Reuben was with the 18th during the Cedar Creek Battle and served to the end of the war. He was wounded on at least two occasions. Reuben is my great-great grandfather and a Great American.

George Davis was my father's grandfather. He was 16 when he enlisted for the second time his first enlistment having been a three months enlistment just before Gettysburg.

At the age of 21 joined in Pittsburgh on September 24, 1862 by H.B. Van Voorhis. Was mustered in at Harrisburg by LT Brown on December 5, 1862. Discharged by General Order June 13, 1865 at the US General Hospital in Cumberland, Maryland. Pension received for spine and hand injury.

Wounded at Opequon, VA 19 Sept. 1864, aged 44.

Moses Wisel b. 19 Dec. 1834 in Mineral Point, Cambria Co., PA was my ggrandfather. I am searching for a photo that I existed of him in 1975 and was owned by my great-aunt in Ohio, she passed away then and no one seems to know what became of the photo. Enlisted 3 October 1862 in Johnstown, PA captured at Mine Run, VA 5 May 1864 d. 28 July 1864 at Andersonville Prison, Andersonville, GA. Grave number 4181 Andersonville National Cemetery.
