Nathan's name was incorrectly recorded as 'Borkey' on his service record. He was from Sommerset County, PA near Stanton's Mill. He turned 19 years-old 27 days after mustering in at Camp Curtin. He emmigrated to Elkhart County, IN after the war where he farmed, married twice and raised 8 children. He lived to be 93 years old, passing away in 1935.
