Charles was born about 1834 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and died on May 26, 1883 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia at about 49 years of age and was buried on May 29, 1883 in North Cedar Hill Cemetery, Frankford Avenue and Bridge Street, Philadelphia.

Enlisted as a Private on 5 September 1864 at the age of 27. Wounded near Wilmington, NC on 21 February 1865. Discharged on 19 June 1865.

Samuel served from 9/3/64 to 6/22/65. He lost hearing in one ear from the war, and had 18 kids with two wives near/in York, PA. He is my 3rd Great-Grandfather. He lived January 19, 1843- February 17, 1912.

Christian Cadwalader enlisted 9-5-1864 he mustered into Company K 203rd PA INF. He mustered out on 6-22-1865 at Raleigh,NC- he was wounded at Port Fisher,NC Jan 15 1865.
