205th Pennsylvania Infantry

My Great Grandfather, Adam Bowers served with the 205th PVI after having been discharged on a surgeons certificate from the 78th PVI in 1863. He spent a year at home before enlisting with the 205th and served till the end of the war.

Muster in 1 Sep 1864. Muster out 2 Jun 1865.

Enlisted as a Private on 27 August 1864 at the age of 23. Wounded at Petersburg, VA on 2 April 1865. Died from wounds on 27 May 1865 at Philadelphia, PA.
