I have a copy of the pension request put in by his wife Emily J Harrington. He lived in Decatur county.

Thomas Henry Griggs is my Great-Great-Grandfather. He enlisted
10 Dec. 1861 in Nashville, Tenn. He served as a Pvt. in Co.H
6th (Wheeler's) Tenn. Cavalry. He served until 31 Dec. 1862. He had his own horse, so he was paid .40 cents a day for the use of his horse. Born 1826 Giles Co., Tenn. Died 1879 in Giles Co., Tenn. Buried in the old Lynville Cemetery, North of Pulaski, Tenn. I can not find his grave. If anybody knows where it is please let me know.

David Crockett Neal was my great, great grandfather. He enlisted in Giles County and served in the 11th Battalion (Gordon's) Tennessee Cavalry, Co. B, and in the 6th (Wheeler's) Tennessee Cavalry, Co. H. Died 7/12/1928(?). Buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, TN (Giles Co.).
