Enlisted Feb 24th, 1864, Captured at Reams Station on Aug 25th ,1864. Died at Salisbury, NC on Dec 17th, 1864.

Served as an ambulance driver during the war. After the war became a muleskinner and made a living selling mules to the Army at Ft. Supply. Died in 1911 in Mangum OK, and is buried with his wife and son in Riverside Cemetery. Family has a phot of Reason and his son 'Henry' in front of their dugout 'Sod' home just after the Oklahoma Land Rush.

1847 to 1882 Born in New Hampshire he enlisted on 20 February, 1864. Mustered out 12 July, 1865 at Jeffersonville, KY. He died in Idaho in an explosion while helping build a railroad.

Edmund was my great-great grandfather on my mother's side. I know he was at the Battle of Hatcher's Run.

Charles fought in the Battle of Totopotomy Creek, also known as Bethesda Church, near Richmond, VA. His company took part in a charge on rebel lines under heavy fire. He was wounded and taken prisoner. He later died of his wounds at General Hospital #21 in Richmond, VA on June 18, 1864. Staff at the American Civil War History Museum in Richmond informed me he was buried at Richmond National Cemetery however his exact plot there is unknown. He was nineteen or twenty at the time of his passing.

He was a member of the Brothertown Indian tribe.

Enlisted on 24 Feb 1864 from Eldorado, Fond du Lac county. On the first of June, his company and three others from the regiment were sent out as heavy skirmishers at the battle of Bethesda Church to make a demonstration against the extreme right of the Confederate lines. Instead of falling back to the main line they made a charge at which time he was wounded slightly and taken prisoner. He marched into the prison stockade at Andersonville, Georgia on June 8th. He died there on the 18th of September, 1864 from the affects of starvation and dysentery. He left behind a widow and 5 children. He was born about 1835 in Rogzon, Koslin, Pommern.

Also served in the 31st Wisconsin, Co. A. Sergeant Tichenor was taken prisoner May 26, 1864 during the battle at the North Anna River. He died in Andesonville Prison August 18, 1864.
