My research shows that he was 33 years old and a private in Capt. Lumpkins Co. Georgia Arty. He is also shown in Co. D 10th Georgia Infantry. Enlisting at Macon, Ga. on 4 March 1862 in [Whittle Guards].His brother Calvin is in the same company. Rigdon is on a a register dated 21 Aug. 1864 at Jackson Hospital in Richmond, Va. for a bayonet wound to his right arm. He is in Wright's Brigade. He is sent home to recover.
