Enoch W. Taylor - 1st Lieutenant
|
Gr, Gr, Gr, Great Grandfather Enoch W. Taylor 1st Lt. in the 124th Illinois Infantry. Gave a copy of the 'History of the 124th' book to his daughter, Amelia Tomlinson who was my Gr, Gr, Great Grandmother. I now have the book as well as a photo album of family members from that era. I also have the Family Bible which dates back to the late 1700's with family names and dates. Bible contains the Books of the Apochrapy and the Lamentations of the Disciples. All 3 books survived some great flood in the 1800's or early 1900's, so their condition is fair. The content is fascinating.
