John Marshall Wooley - Private
John Marshall Wooley is my great great grandfather. He is buried in the Clover Hill cemetary in Lott, TX. He is not noted as a Civil War veteran by the county on their map of cemetaries with Civil War veterans. Marlin is the county seat of Lott county, TX.

We searched the Marlin library for info, and he is listed as JM Wooley, Company H, 9th Louisiana Infantry. This is from the book 'Falls County Civil War Veterans' by Charles Rush.

He is also listed in the research seen at http://tcc230.tripod.com/9thlainf/index.html
