Lesley died in 1913 in Vernon Parish, Louisiana, at the age of 81 years. Known as a cheerful man he, like many others did not talk aout the war and did not apply for his Confederate pension. He is listed in the Vernon Parish, Louisiana Surviving Soldiers and Sailors.

He was also listed as L. McColeh, (an obvious misspelling).

Hillarie was my 2nd great grandfather, fought in the battle of mansfield where his uncle augustin Bordelon got killed. They later travelled down to yellow bayou and fought there. I saw information that Hillarie was a p.o.w. In Washington la. And was released June 1865. I don't know when or where he was captured.
