Company Unknown
Henry Sennett May - Corporal
My Great Grand Father (x4) was in the 49th Massachusetts (Company F) as a Corporal and later the 57th Massachusetts (Company C) 'The Stockbridge company' as Sergeant. He died May 12th, 1864 at the 'Bloody Angle' seeing Combat on the 6th,10th and 12th during the Battle for the Wilderness at Spotsylvania court house. Ive learned alot about the 57th and that battle but I know nothing about the 49th and the battle of Port Hudson Louisiana......Except that most union troops fell to sickness. Thanks very much.......
Bobby May, Pittsfield Massachusetts. My
Grand Fathers name was Henry S. May from Stockbridge,Massachusetts.
