Younger brother of Edward. William Henry Harrison Snellbaker, known as Harry, was stuck in the left thigh by a ball that passed entirely through during the charge at the North Anna River. Despite the wound Harry did not lose his leg. He was subsequently transfered to the Veteran's Reserve Corp and was discharged at the close of the war.
