James Lafayette Gandy - Private   
James also served in Co. D. 2nd SC Arty and this is well documented. His widow Bettie L. Gandy applied for pension on his service with the English Light Artillery Ferguson's Arty Battery under W.E Charles Company. He enlisted 15 April 1862 and served with that unit until close of war. He was discharged at Goldsborgh, NC . They were married 27 Feb. 1861 and James died 11 August 1881.

Pvt. Henry P. Roberts 1825-1911 served in Co. B, Manigault's Battalion, SC Artillery, CSA. He is buried at Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery (or Rehobeth Cemetery) in Horry, SC. He is my ggg-uncle via his sister Rachel Roberts Edwards 1830-1873 (w/o Wm Edwards) of Horry, SC. Henry & Rachel were born in Wayne, Co., NC & moved to Horry, SC in the 1850's.

Abraham Hill - Private   
In the War of Northern Aggression my gg grandfather Abraham Hill (1826-1907) enlisted with Captain Beauregard's Company, South Carolina Light Artillery, and served as a private until the end of the war. He was at the surrender with Robert E. Lee at Appomattox, Virginia. He married Martha Jane King and both are buried in the Franklin Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Royston, Georgia.
