A., until about the 10th of Nov., 1862, when the said son came and released his father who returned home and died at his home near Annona, Texas, Sept. 1882.

R. A. Wolf returned home after the close of the war and died at his home near Annona, Texas, March 26, 1900. In 1921 his wife filed for a Confederate Widow's Pension. In this file, his records from the War Department show that 'R. A. Wolfe, Priv. Co. F. 27 Texas Cav. (Whitfield's Legion) CSA, enlisted March 7, 1862. Company Muster Roll for May and June, 1864 (last on file) show him present. No prisoner of war record. '
