Squire Smith - Private
|
Enlisted June 1st, 186? (they did not fill in the actual year)at Sand Lick. He was enlisted by Captain Counts (probably a relative as there are Counts in his family tree) and he enlisted for a period of 3 years. It would also appear that he was AWOL on Aug 31, 1863. It appears it was for only the one day.
