He is my great-great-great grandfather on my mother's side.

His younger brother Lemuel S Fadely enlisted in Co K of the 33rd Virginia Infantry Regiment and was Killed In Action during 1st Bull Run/Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia.

His younger brother Sylvanus/Sylvenius Ezra Fadely enlisted in Co H of the 12th Virginia Cavalry Regiment and survived the war.
