They have spelling wrong on muster [Wait, John] date Sept. 13,1961;Chicago,Illinois. He served in 44th Illinois Inf. co.I til Sept. 15,1964 mustered out. John was a grandfather of mine from Mt. Vernon,Illinois Jefferson Co.; he was wounded at the battle of Resaca, Ga. on May 14,1864 right arm removed. So far all website's I visited only have his name spelling wrong and just his mustered date. I have copies of most of his muster roll-calls. Please, add him to your files.
