I believe Patrick was captured at Murfeesboro, but was somehow released. He was in Montana in 1864, but I'm unsure of how that happened.

Lt. Robert Cade was my 4th great grandfather and served in the 13th infantry of Louisiana from Sept. 11, 1861 until he resigned Nov. 3, 1863. I am speculating here, but considering the 3 month-long battle of chattanooga in which the 13th/20th was heavily involved, i think he may have been injured or captured there. I do know he died of yellow fever in 1878 at the age of 40.

Samuel Green Culbertson served 3 years in the Louisiana Crescent regement 11th battalion. He is buried in the Dixon cemetary in Shelby Co. Texas.He was my great-great grandfather.
