Fredericksburg Light Artillery (Capt. Pollock)

John Gray Pollock started the war as a 29-year old sergeant in this battery and eventually rose to command it. He was born and raised at Rumsford, across the river from Fredericksburg VA. His older brother, William G., commanded Co A, 47th VA; his younger brother was a lieutantant in the same company.
