My Great Great Grandfather Isaac Richardson was born on 6 May 1831 in Warsaw, Coshcocton, Ohio. Moved to Illinois in 1858. Joined the Illinois 85th Infantry Company I. in Fulton County Illinois. He reported to Summum, Illinois. Company I then marched to Peoria, Il. where they were outfitted with uniforms and weapons. Fought in many of the battles including Battle of Chickamauga, The March to the Sea, and many others. Isaac mustered out 5 June 1865. He was a farmer by trade and he was married to Sarah Elisabeth Tyre or (Towery).
