In searching thru Alanson NORCUTT's Civil War pension records from the NARA, I found the name of J.W. MORGAN, Assitant surgeon, that also stated he was a son-in-law of Alanson NORCTT. J.W. MORGAN was with the 40 Reg. in Iowa. according to the records. Any info. would be so helpful in finding out more about Alanson NORCUTT, my 2nd paternal great grandfather. Thank you for your time. Wm W. Rash is on the US Civil War Draft Regiment Records 1863-1865. Listed under Keokuk Co., Richland, IA. age 26. married. birthplace: Tenn. Also listed is brother? Daniel Rash, age 24, birthplace Tenn, listed directly below William W. Rash. Found Wm W. Rash at www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/soldiers.cfm as documented on film M541 Roll 22. Any additional info greatly appreciated.
