My great-great-grandfather on my Mom's side; he enlisted February 1864 and fought in the Atlanta Campaign at the age of 15. Drummer. English immigrant, came to USA in 1852 at the age of 3. From Dover, Ohio. Buried in Dover Cemetery. My mother remembers him well from her childhood. As an old man, Sisson would often slip into a delirium and refight the war, shouting out encouragement and orders to his comrades. Mom has vivid memories of some of these tantrums. Mustered out July 1865 with his regiment. Fought at Kennesaw, Atlanta, Nashville, Franklin, and others.
