Orsemus was detached to Brigade Headquarters as a teamster in 1865. After the war he lived in Siverly, Vinton Co., Ohio. He had married Julia Ann Kaler who bore him seven children. He died January 16, 1907. His widow later lived in Creola, Vinton Co.
