Samuel was born in 1848 in Lancaster County, PA. He enlisted in the 214th PA Infantry at age 17, on March 27, 1865 & mustered out in Washington D.C. on March 21, 1866. He died in Columbia, Lancaster County, PA in 1890. He was the husband of my 3rd great grand aunt.
