J Guttery's Co A 13th Battalion Alabama Partisan Rangers were transferred to this command and two Mississippi Companies were added to bring it to regimental strength. Cav. but was known in the field as 2nd Regt. Tenn. Cav. PS: It should be noted that over the years I have found several members marked as deserted.
