Lee Hays was in the war, enlisting in Livingston Overton Co. Tn. But we know that he wasn't with Co. B 26th Tn Inf, that organized in the same place. Family places him in the cavalry, but he was murdered shortly after the end of the war in June of 65. Was pretty sure he was stationed in and around Nashville.
